Jakarta – Ketua Mahfud MD menyindir Partai Kebangkitan Bangsa (PKB) yang melakukan manuver politik dengan menyebut beberapa tokoh sebagai capresnya untuk 2014. Menurut Mahfud, PKB juga bisa mencapreskan Jokowi kalau mau.
“Seperti PKB, dia bicara dengan Rhoma, tapi kan ke saya juga datang secara resmi untuk meminang. Artinya sebagai salah satu ikon yg diinginkan, belum final. Kalau perlu sebut Jokowi boleh juga,” kata ketua MK Mahfud MD, usai rapat dengan komisi III di gedung DPR, Senayan, Jakarta, Selasa (4/12/2012).
Menurutnya, meski PKB sudah menyebut beberapa nama calon presiden untuk pilpres 2014, pada akhirnya semua yang memutuskan adalah keperluan politik dari PKB.
“Pada akhirnya kan ada keperluan-keperluan politik sendiri pada akhirnya. Kalau orang luar yang nggak punya partai kan begitu,” ungkapnya.
Ia menuturkan setiap orang yang disebut PKB harus sadar bahwa setiap nama yang disebut bukan nama final, karena baru ke arah penyaringan. “Sebab itu, kalau Rhoma didukung PKB, saya juga didukung PKB, PKB juga dukung orang lain juga, jangan dianggap sudah selesai,” jelasnya.
Sementara, saat ditanya bagaimana keputusannya dengan pinangan PKB sebagai Capres tersebut, Mahfud menyatakan beum sampai pada keputusan.
“Saya tahu (dipinang PKB), tapi saya ngga bisa jawab itu sekarang. Saya kan belum sampai pada keputusan itu,” jawab Mahfud.
